Community Engagement Policy
In the past periods, electronic community participation has gained great interest among all the governments around the world. As community participation adopts the idea of involving citizens and relevant stakeholders in the decision-making process, and involve them in developing the services, whether by sharing suggestions or participating in expressing their views in the surveys that affect them directly, and in what way they contribute to the continuous improvement and development of the effectiveness and efficiency of these services.
The General Organization for Social Insurance works to implement community participation practices by providing citizens a several electronic channels so they can share opinions, points of view, and proposals. Also, courage them to participate in development and decision-making, and these channels are for all citizens from all different categories, plus government agencies and business sectors to benefit from the experts of the specialists in all fields in a confidential and neutral manner, so it reaches all the relevant departments of the organisation and its senior leadership to discuss and respond as soon as possible.
In general, the organisation is looking forward to lay down everything it deems that would support in carrying out its role of serving the customers for the purposes of discussion, and seeking advice from experts, people whom are concerned, and direct stakeholders. Accordingly, all citizens, residents, and entities are welcomely invited to share their visions and experiences that are good for the public interest through all the electronic social media means of the organisation.
The General Organization for Social Insurance obligate to review the posts periodically, but it is not obligated to review or respond to all posts, due to their large number or repetition of information. Also, the organisation have the right to not publishing or deleting the posts that contains inconsistent with its policy or the applicable laws in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without being obligated to do so. In addition, the organisation and its employees or representatives is not legally responsible for the consequences of publishing comments or observations through its electronic means of participation.
Terms and conditions for community participation
Based on the organisation's endeavour to ensure the achievement of the desired goals of community participation in a way that contributes in the development of the services provided by the organisation, the organisation is asking everyone to read the terms and conditions for community participation:

Adherence to the doctrine and ethics of the true Islamic religion, customs, traditions, regulations and national systems followed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Compliance with publication laws in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The participation should be serious, clear and brief.
Do not submit the post more than once.
Do not write any abusive or obscene expressions, or carrying insults to people or entities
Compliance to the rules of classical Arabic language and spelling as much as possible.
Do not publish personal data such as names, contact information and addresses, and do not market to any other party.
Do not misuse the organisation's systems for electronic participation in a way that affects its performance, level of security, speed, or continuity, or to prevent others from benefiting from this service.
The participation shall not cause a violation of any legal rights or intellectual property rights of any party.
Adjustments on the articles of regulations and executive regulations
The organisation is keen to achieve the goals and objectives of the social insurance law, and to keep up with the economic and social developments in the Kingdom, plus what may be required in terms of adjustments on the articles of laws and regulations.
The organisation allows everyone to view the adjustments on the articles of the laws and executive regulations, and to allow the public to express their views on the proposed adjustments through “Istitlaa” platform.
“Istitlaa” platform
In implementation of the Council of Ministers Resolution No. (476) dated 15/7/1441 AH, which stipulates that the National Competitiveness Center shall establish the (Laws and Regulations Support Unit and the like) to be competent to establish and supervise the unified electronic platform for polling the opinions of the public and government agencies.
A polling platform allows the public, the private sector and government agencies to express their views on draft laws, regulations and the like related to economic and development affairs.
